Physics & Movement

Particles follow simple physics: velocity controls direction and speed, gravity pulls them down, and friction slows them over time.

Particles can change appearance as they age. But the real magic happens with additive blending - overlapping particles get BRIGHTER instead of darker!

Layering Effects

Professional fire effects use multiple particle layers stacked together. Toggle each layer to see how they combine to create a realistic flame!

Smoke renders first (back), then outer, mid, and core on top. Order creates depth!
