1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this platform operated by My TEK Lab, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
If you are under 18, your parent, guardian, or teacher must agree to these terms on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
- Children under 13 may use the platform with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or teacher.
- Each person may create only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
- Teachers may create and manage student accounts within their classrooms.
3. Accounts & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Account types include child, teen, adult, and teacher — each with different features and permissions appropriate to the user's age group.
- You must not share your account credentials with others or use another person's account.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the platform to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that promotes violence.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Upload or share illegal, obscene, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without permission.
We use automated and manual content moderation to enforce these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion.
5. User Content & Licenses
- You retain ownership of the projects and content you create on the platform.
- When you share a project publicly, the license you choose (e.g., All Rights Reserved, Creative Commons) determines what others may do with your work.
- By sharing content on the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, host, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
- Remixing another user's project is permitted only when their chosen license allows it, and you must comply with the terms of that license (e.g., attribution, share-alike, non-commercial restrictions).

6. Classroom Accounts
- Teachers are responsible for the student accounts they create and manage within their classrooms.
- Teachers may control student access to social features (commenting, sharing, liking).
- Teachers may view student projects and activity within their classroom.
- Teachers are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent for students under 13 in accordance with applicable laws.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
- A free tier is available with limited storage and features.
- Paid plans (Creator, Pro, and Classroom) offer additional storage, features, and capabilities.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
- Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles are described on our Pricing page.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
8. Intellectual Property
The platform — including its code, design, branding, logos, and documentation — is the property of My TEK Lab, Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written permission.
9. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the platform.
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and projects will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and disclaimers) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My TEK Lab, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service — arising out of or related to your use of the platform, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
Our total liability for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
