Homeschool ID card maker

School ID cards for your homeschool: a student ID for each child and a teacher ID for you. Add a photo, the grade and the school year, and an emergency contact on the back. Cards print wallet size, front and back, up to four people on a sheet.

Print on card stock at 100% scale, cut on the dashed lines, then laminate.
Your information stays on your computer. Nothing you type or add here, photos, logos and signatures included, is sent to us or stored on our servers. It is saved only in this browser, on this device, so it is here when you come back. Clearing your browser data erases it, and it does not follow you to another computer. Print it or save it as a PDF to keep a copy.

About homeschool ID cards

An ID card from your homeschool says the holder is a student or teacher there, the way any private school's card does. Families use them for field trips, library and museum programs, testing days, and student or educator discounts where a business accepts them. It is not a government ID, so it does not replace a state ID card or passport where proof of identity or age is required.

For records a college or your state will ask for, start with the transcript builder and the attendance log.

Homeschool ID card questions

Is a homeschool ID card an official ID?

It is an ID from your homeschool, the same as any private school issues: it says the holder is a student or teacher there. It is not a government ID and does not prove age or identity the way a state ID or passport does. Museums, stores and programs that give student or educator discounts decide for themselves what they accept.

Where is the photo stored?

In your own browser, on this computer. The photo is shrunk to card size and saved with the card; nothing is uploaded to our servers.

How do I print and make the card?

Print on card stock, cut out the front and back, fold or glue them back to back, and laminate. A sheet holds up to four people, so one page covers most families.
