Try Night Sky Lab free in your browser, with nothing to install and no account. See the sky from where you stand, for any night. Find the Big Dipper and follow its Pointers to the North Star, watch the sky wheel as you turn the clock, see the Moon in tonight's phase and which planets are up. Then plan a real night out: what will be up, where to look, what to bring, and a log for what you saw.
