Tools students can open right now

Every one of these runs in a browser tab. No account, no download, no lab setup, and nothing to uninstall afterward. The pages below are written for the adult in the room: what a student actually does, what they are learning while they do it, and the questions to ask to find out whether it landed.

Written up in full

Each of these has a page explaining the activity, the mathematics and computer science underneath it, how long a session takes, and how it works with a group.

These do not have a write-up yet. They open the same way: click, and you are in.

Common questions

Do I need an account to use these?

No. Every tool listed here opens in your browser and runs immediately, and your work is kept in the browser tab while you experiment. An account is what makes a project survive closing the tab, and what lets a class share work with each other.

Are these free?

The tools are free to use. Paid plans add storage, classroom management, and courses; none of them gate the making apps themselves.

Do they install anything?

Nothing. They run in any modern browser on a computer, a Chromebook, or a tablet. There are no downloads and no plugins.

Can I use these in a homeschool co-op or a microschool?

Yes, and that is who most of these pages are written for. A free teacher account covers up to 50 students, and several of the apps have a shared mode where a whole group puts their work into one space and watches what happens.

What ages are these for?

Most sit comfortably from around age 8 through high school. Each tool page lists its own age range, how long a session takes, and what a student is actually learning while they use it.

There is a lot more behind the login

The demos above are a slice. A free account opens the full set of making apps, saves work between sessions, and lets a class share projects with each other. Teachers and co-op leaders get a classroom for up to 50 students at no cost.
